Internet blackout day: See you all on Thursday

Google: End Piracy, Not Liberty

Millions of Americans oppose SOPA and PIPA because these bills would censor the Internet and slow economic growth in the U.S.

Two bills before Congress, known as the Protect IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate and the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, would censor the Web and impose harmful regulations on American business. Millions of Internet users and entrepreneurs already oppose SOPA and PIPA.

The Senate will begin voting on January 24th. Please let them know how you feel. Sign this petition urging Congress to vote NO on PIPA and SOPA before it is too late.

Tell Congress: Don't censor the Web

Fighting online piracy is important. The most effective way to shut down pirate websites is through targeted legislation that cuts off their funding. There's no need to make American social networks, blogs and search engines censor the Internet or undermine the existing laws that have enabled the Web to thrive, creating millions of U.S. jobs.

Too much is at stake — please vote NO on PIPA and SOPA.

Scenery and Production Design: A Legion Picspam

I have a thing for dark apocalyptic thrillers so I freaked out when I first saw the trailer for Legion. It  quickly became one of my favorite movies. Plus, I love Paul Bettany and Kevin Durand so it was a win-win kind of movie in my book. I wish it would have delved a little deeper into the Gabriel/Michael relationship because those two guys are amazing actors. Their scenes were spot on and some of the best in the movie.

For challenge 26 over at [livejournal.com profile] picspammy , the theme was scenery and production design. IMHO, those were two elements that really made this movie pop.

Fear, Terror, and Trepidation in Silent Hill: A Picspam

For this months challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] picspammy , I chose to do something completely different. I've never spammed Silent Hill before even though I harbor a deep and abiding fear/love of it.

Also, I fail as an English major as I spelled Trepidation wrong. *headdesk*

Are You Trying to Save My Soul?: A Picspam in Red and Green (The Fall)

When I saw the latest challenge over at [livejournal.com profile] picspammy , I knew immediately that I wanted to spam something awesome. The question was what that something would be. Fortunately, the answer was obvious.

I've been waiting for a great excuse to spam The Fall for quite some time. Not only is it a really great story, but there is also a genocide of color abuse going on.

One More Mile; A Generation Kill Picspam

The challenge this month over at [livejournal.com profile] picspammy  was to use a picspam to illustrate a song. The first thing that I thought of was this song and this fandom and I knew I had to do it. I've wanted to make a vid of it for so long but I fail at that sort of thing, but I can picspam.
